Privacy Policy
Last updated: 3 August 2026
FundReady Bench (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and your rights. We operate in the UK and follow UK GDPR requirements.
Who we are (Data Controller)
Data Controller: FundReady Bench (trading name)
Contact: privacy.fundreadybench@gmail.com
What we collect
- Submission data: private startup label, email, optional company website, stage, operating-age band, country, industry, business model, customer type, monthly revenue, active customers or users, monthly revenue growth or its not-applicable status, team composition, founder experience, funding history, current fundraising status, a target raise when actively raising or preparing to raise, selected challenges and server-derived data-quality flags.
Why we use your data (Legal bases)
- Provide the service (calculate your score and show a summary) — performance of a contract.
- Associate repeated submissions made with the same normalized email and private startup label — legitimate interests.
- Make startup metrics eligible for aggregate benchmark statisticsonly when you select the benchmark consent checkbox — consent.
Data sharing & processors
We use trusted processors to run the service. They process data on our behalf under contract:
- Hosting and database: Vercel (site hosting) and Supabase (Postgres database).
We do not sell personal data. If aggregate benchmark statistics are published in the future, identifying fields such as email, private startup label and website will not be included.
Service storage and benchmark inclusion
We store identifying fields to provide the readiness service and associate future submissions with the same startup. Benchmark consent separately controls whether the startup metrics are eligible for future aggregate statistics. If you do not consent, the submission is marked as excluded.
Email and the private startup label are stored internally to associate repeated submissions. They are not included in published aggregate benchmarks. Future aggregate benchmarks may exclude or separately analyse submissions carrying a data-quality flag.
International transfers
Some processors may store data outside the UK/EEA. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g., UK ICO/European Commission adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses).
How long we keep data
The intended retention period for identifiable submission data is up to 24 months after the most recent associated submission, but an automated retention schedule is not currently implemented. Deletion can be requested using the contact address below.
Your rights (UK GDPR)
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Delete your data (“right to erasure”).
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Data portability (receive a copy in a usable format).
- Withdraw benchmark consent at any time.
To exercise any right, email privacy.fundreadybench@gmail.com. We’ll respond within 30 days.
Children
FundReady Bench is for adults and is not directed to children.
